It was thanksgiving when the infection broke out. Zombies were on parade all over the world. So, Roger, the manager of the only Meijer in Antarctica decided to put his store on lock down. The trapped customers panicked and decided to try and brake out by tearing everything off the shelves and ramming the door. This was stopped by the manager, standing on his desk....with a 12 gauge shot gun. He then "asked" everyone to put all the supplies back on the shelves.
The customers now trapped, complied. For the rest of their days they stocked and restocked shelves. Many died from exhaustion. the rest continued to go about their mandated duties until the manager finally died of old age. But by then the manager had welded the front doors shut. And they were all doomed. Many became cannibals. Eventually, the army heard a radio broadcast from one of the prisoners and breached the doors only to find a mass of corpses.
